The Frostback Mountains War

This Rp is specifically designed for fantasy roleplay. I'm talking about Elves, Dwarves, magicians, demons, humans, dragons, and a bunch of other fantasy creatures. Well humans arn't fantasy, demons as well. But I think you get what I'm talking about. Anyways, the world is in a large war over a major ore producing range of mountains. The Frostback Mountains. Towering higher then the Himalayans, longer then the Andes Mountains and always blanketed in feet of snow and ice. The name fits this range of giant rock with white backs. There is litterally no life on the outside of the mountains, but inside. Deep within the rock near the churning lava of the volcanoes of the range. Is the greatest sum of the worlds ore with the highest price and use. In the beginning, the Dwarves were what had total control over the ore in the mountains. Few ventured through the range for its inhospitable terrain and weather. But when a group of greedy humans cut travel time to the northern villages for trade saw the gold and platnuim, among other ores. They instantly set up shop and began mining. The dwarves were unhappy and chased them away. But that didn't keep the humans of telling exaggerated stories. Saying that they glistened with diamonds on golden walls with silver stones growing from the ground up. Forming great cavarns of pure majesty. Around ten years later, the elves came to settle in the mountains after their settlements at the foothills had been destroyed. A terrible storm was coming from the sea to the west, and they had no choice but to take shelter with their bitter rivals. It was after three hundred years that the humans returned, having depleted all of the surface's ore that they could purify. They came for the mountains on a limb that the stories were true. They were, and now there is a full on war. The Dwarves and Elves refused to let the humans deplete the world of its ore. They refused to let them turn them into terrible machines that were polluting the air and water. Nature was dying, and the self-appointed guardians would stand next to this last sacred piece of earth. The humans didn't like that, and hired mages to summon monsters to drive out the Elves. Now its the Dwarves and Elves on one side. Humans and dark magics on another. Which side will you be on?

History: she grew up in the mountains only to have gone outside when she got a job as a spy for the elves and dwarfs on humans
Other: she has scrapes all over her body but nothing major yet!

Name: Strangle
Age: possibly 23
Race: Human?
Alliance: Weapons freak
Physical traits: She is rarely seen outside her full body suit, or her gas mask, but on other times, when she is not in her suit, she is seen to have a rather slim figure. She is averagely tall. She has short windswept blonde hair. Her eyes and facial features are never seen: she never removes her gas mask.
Personality: Despite others not being able to understand her, she tries to be friendly, and talks a lot (though all that ever comes out is 'Mmmph, mmmph mmmm-mmmmph!'). She also seems to delight in burning people and watching people suffocate in her toxic gas bombs.
Strengths: Strangle has an array of weapons which she can deploy to cause havoc where ever she wants: flamethrowers, acid speakers, gas bombs, flash bombs....
Weaknesses: No obvious weaknesses. She's not exactly a tank either, so....yeah. She's not invulnerable.
Weapons: Flamethrower with attached acid sprayer, a small axe, napalm bombs, toxic gas bombs, flash bombs, non-toxic smoke bombs.
Inventory: Canisters holding the 'ammunition' of her main weapon. She carries it with one hand rather than on her back, though.

Other: She has once used a gas mask which covered only her nose and mouth, revealing she has sky blue eyes. And rather pale skin. It is not known why she switched to a full face mask. It was speculated to be because she invented the toxic gas bombs and therefore had to switch to a full face gas mask.

Physical traits: Tall, pale skin, crystal blue eyes, long red hair, narrow face. Always in armor.
Personality: Quiet, listens to orders even if they are bad, she's a soldier.
Strengths: Sword, bow, determination.
Weaknesses: Will listen to the worst orders ever, strength.
Weapons: Long sword with poison tip. Long bow, arrows.
Inventory: Extra arrows, orders.
History: Jacylen has been a soldier her whole life. She knows only battle.
Other: Scar across right arm.

Name: His name... Crona, but he's almost forgot his real name due to most people calling him things like "Little brat" "kid" "twerp" and many other names such as those

Gender: Male, but some people mistake him for a girl and he just goes along with it.
Race: Actually he's a nymph (I count nymphs as a kind of lower class of elves, or faeries, whatever ya wanna 'em... )
Alliance: He doesn't really have a side but he doesn't want nature to be ruined, and he doesn't want the Earth to weep for it's lost children from a war. He's not even sure if the rumors are true, the Frostback Mountains are only a few miles form the forest where he roams and he only hears the rumors of travelers passing through the forest... (he's crazy and thinks the Earth can cry for people who die... Don't ruin his dreams! Or mine... I believe that to! )
Physical traits: Pink hair, purple eyes, light-skinned, skinny-ish, he almost ALWAYS has a smile on his face
Personality: He is fun-loving, mischievous, and just plain RUDE to strangers! If you pass under a tree he is sitting on, be warned that he may poke fun at you and has been known to fight some travelers if they are rude back.
Strengths: He is very agile, and silent! LIKE A NINJA!!! His weakness is also his strength, if you tickle him to much he might lash out and severely hurt you!
Weaknesses: He's REALLY F'IN TICKLISH!!! If you just touch him, he will burst out in giggles and not be able to control himself if you actually try to tickle him
Weapons: Himself, and nature!
Inventory: Not much, he uses whatever he can find...
History: As a child he was greatly loved by a family, though he can't exactly remember them, he just remembers that one day these wings appeared on his back and everyone started to hate him. They weren't really wings though! Only what looked like tatoos, but if he concentrated hard he could control parts of nature and the wings would pop off his back and become real. He never really got how this worked but his family died because of that and he has never tried to use his abilities again! But sometimes they just use themselves... Life threatining situations and very emotional moments usually trigger them. ANYWHO! After his parents were killed by the bounty hunter, he somehow managed to escape (probably using his powers) with his two younger siblings (sister and brother, they were twins) notice I said WERE they died on that way to a rumored treasure... He has always stayed in the forest where they died from then on and never made it to the Frostback Mountains to obtain the wealth, and happiness he dreamed of... But he's content with losing his mind in a big maze of a forest!
Other: He just kinda roams around the forest near the Frostback Mountains, occasionally stealing things to survive when times are hard on nature... Sometimes he will o a little way away from the forest he "lives" in, but usually not more than a day of walking

Gender: female
Race: Ogre
Alliance: Alone. currently has no sides, nor anyone or anything to deal with
Physical traits: Stands at 7 ft tall. Wieghs 508lbs. Very muscular. Green-olive skin. Brown eyes. Two large bottom fangs sticking from her mouth.
Personality: Violent. For fun, she ties up smaller creatures and uses them as her personal target practice. Doesn't talk much.
Strengths: Brutal strength. Excelent aim, hardly ever misses her target.
Weaknesses: Slow on her feet because of her size.
Weapons: Collections of daggers.
Inventory: Collection of daggers. White crystal that allows visions into the future if used properly. Book of enchauntments.
History: She was raised by three male ogres who taught her to be the way she is now. One of them was killed, but the other two just dissapeared so she has lived by herself for the past 15 years. She lives in a cave and has a diet strictly of meat. Often, she will taunt someone(usually an empty minded human) into going into the cave where she will be waiting patiently with her daggers.

(YUP! :3 I actually watch it only sadly... I'm gonna read that series next! I'm into a buncha Kaori Yuki manga now let me get those... OK! Got 'em! There's The Grand Guignal Orchestra, Angel Sanctuary, and Fairycube... and I'm also trying to get some of the Bleach books. Crazy, huh? )

(Yeah, so anyway...Anyone gonna pass through Crona's Fangaorne/Fangorn forest!?! Be sure, You'll be haunted by the "Imp of Fangaorne/Fangorn forest" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fangorn hahaha already made up another nickname for my character! WE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED RP-ING YET! >_< I am so lame... )

(Were starting now. I just wanted to give anyone else a chance to join before we get underway!)

Deep in the dwarven war council, next to the strong king Dovfing. Dalivite stood there, his axe at hand. He grumbled, the politians had come in and now, the meeting was dragging. Growing angry and wanting to set off to battle. Dalivite slammed his shield into the stone table. "If we stand around any longer, the humans will gain extra ground. They're clever, and decietful. That's how they took the surface. Now lets send out the orders we ALREADY decided on!" They stared at him, and Dalivite saw his father smile out of the corner of his eyes. "Lets do just that."

Crona hopped silently from treetop (or should I say ent-top? 0-o) to treetop looking for travelers passing through the forest, his stomach occasionally growling in hunger. He hadn't eaten much for FIVE DAYS! A new record... Let's see... He thought In the last five days I've only eaten... Ummmmmmmm... A few nuts, some berries that made my tongue turn funny colors and my mouth, and stomach ache. That fish that had been left behind on the bank when the river went back down to it's normal spot after all the rain... That rabbit that was hit by some lightning or something... That's about it. He snapped out of his thoughts and stopped as he peered over the treebranch (Ent-branch?) cautiously seeing a traveler. This one looked different than the others... He was leading a horse pulling a cart full of weapons and armor! "ANOTHER ONE!?!" He burst out, making the person look up where he was, he toppled down in fright and landed on the ground, now bruised with a few scars.

Jacylen was outside the Dwarf war chamber, Dalivitie stepped out and looked at her with his green eyes. "What are my orders?" She asked him in a small voice. She had been made to kill, ready for anything to come her way. After a battle, all she could remember was being who she was. "Take a stealth squad and plant toxin bombs at each of the closest mage outposts. Those should take them out." He told her and she nodded, and sprinted off.

The traveler stepped forward, it was an oddly outfitted male in a cloak. "A... Kid? Really? A kid!?! So near a warzone like this!?! and in the mysterious and dangereous Fangorn forest!?!" he said and started laughing loudly "Stay here, whatever your doing here. I've heard that demons roam the forest and I have no interest to be captured and enslaved by one." Crona just stared at him "Sssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... You'll wake the trees you idiot! You have to keep quiet or they might hurt you... Especially if you're starting wars that will hurt their home." he said quietly

Jacylen stopped running down in the armory. A stocky dwarf was behind the stone counter. "How ya doing Jacylen?" He asked her, she was a regular customer. "I need arrows." She simply said and he nodded. He went into the back, leaving her to gaze about at all the finely made Dwarven and Elven weapons. "I love place." She said. The Dwarves and Elves think that she had recieved a strong blow to the head, and now she had little memory and had trouble speaking. She didn't care, as long as she could fight.

The traveler snorted. "Little kids should keep their mouths shut! I don't care about your opinion! I'm PROTECTING nature! I AM FIGHTING AGAINST THOSE ROTTEN HUMANS! When I arrive with these weapons, and finely crafted armor sets, we will win the war with these! There's no competition, elves and dwarves will conquer the humans within days!" he walked off from the forest now, walking the last mile of the forest and beginning the climb to the (fort?) Crona socwled, it was people like that guy that made him SICK! He had been so distracted by his ugly words that he had forgotten to get some food!




Quite a while later, the traveler arrived at the (fort?) and walked through still leading the horse pulling the cart. He arrived at the armory "I HAVE A DELIVERY!" he said and let go off the horse. He leaned against a wall and stared at Jacylen "Whatchya doin?" he asked her "I had to go through a dangerous forest. Some friekish kid was there and he ambushed me, came from the trees! He had this weird pink hair... And he kept saying all these weird things like "You'll wake the trees" and "They'll hurt you if you start wars." he was obviously insane!" the merchant smirked

Jacylen was not one to judge others, but she did not like this man. She scowled. "Boy smart. Tree's wake and hurt those who are ones who woake them." She warned him. "City no need those who disrepect others." She warned, paid for the arrows, cast the man a warning look and stalked out.

(I forget to mention Strangle has her own team. That's okay, right? Having a small team?)

"What's up with her?" he asked the dwarf sneering and jerked a thumb at the way Jacylen had went "Whatever... Anyway-" the dwarf cut him off "I don't do business with such rude, disrespectful people!" he glared at the man and he quickly scuttled out. Never to be heard of again in this RP!
