Alphas Wanted

It has most certainly been some time since our dear alpha (in the roleplay) Heatherfeather (Jay) has shown up on the site. The fact of the matter is, we cannot wait much longer for the pack to have an alpha. Neither can we wait for a beta. Truth is, we've never even had two alphas or even betas. So now it is time for us to have this, otherwise the pack will begin to crumple in factuality. We have three healers, two mothers, a vast amount with questionable loyalties and histories. Fights will occur in the pack, and right now it's all being left up to the members to fix it with no real form of punishment.

So, here's my idea. Two adult members of the pack are to become the alphas, no they don't have to be mates, but they must be of opposite genders and with reasonable qualifications. If you're interested in the position, but lack the character with the skills, potential or desire, feel free to create a new character but you gotta get them into the pack and them prove themselves enough to become an alpha.

If you want the position, post a response here with the name of the wolf and reasons for them to become an alpha. We will vote on the characters after a week time period for all to have posted their application or create a character and then posted the application. There will be two polls, one for the male and one for the female.

Requirements for application;

1. Not a nursing mother -The pack needs the structure and leadership pronto and nursing pups would be a distraction.
2. Not a healer -Waaaaaay to much power for some wolf.
3. Capable fighter, hunter and or scout. We cannot have an incompetent leader.
4.Older than two years of age.

I think Askuwheteau might make a good Alpha, but I dunno. Number one reason is that he is a strong father figure. He has experience in many things due to his age (9 years and 5 months) and that he traveled to many different places in his life.
The 2nd reason is that it would help me make him a more active character. He doesn't do much right now, and I regret that.

Now it's later:
3rd reason is that he puts others before himself. He tries to be fair to everybody and is willing to listen to others opinions and take them into consideration when he makes decisions.
4th reason is that even though Asku is old he's still pretty strong.
My 5th reason is that he knows he can take care of himself as well as others. He almost never exaggerates something.Sure, sometimes he does a bit of bragging, but he never claims that he's done something when he hasn't. He is a rather honest guy.
My 6th and probably final reason is that he isn't all brawn and no brain. He actually thinks his moves through, and he isn't actually that much above the average strength of a healthy male. Askuwheteau simply plans ahead and learns his opponents strengths and weaknesses. What I'm trying to say is that he has a well-balanced skill set.

I enter Erebus;

Before you guys flip out, please read the reasons.

1. Erebus is an excellent fighter, capable of taking on multiple enemies at a time.
2. Erebus's skill in hunting and tracking put him above par in comparison to most others.
3. Clever, smart and tactful, Erebus would be excellent at figuring out what to do against rival packs or threats.
4. His size would aid in deterring off invaders as well as his reputation.
5. Brilliant, Erebus can think of a thousand different plausible possibilities in order to keep the pack not only on top, but ahead.
6. If given the position, Erebus's plans for destruction against the pack would literally diminish. After all, he either wants to rule or ruin.

Yes, I realize that he'll probably get few votes, but please consider.

I think that Erebus and Asku both would be good alphas. Oooohhhh, why can't I vote for both? Is it bad that I'm thinking of voting for my rivals?

Yay! Maybe just found my seventh reason.

7: Asku has kids who are old enough to have kids themselves. Maybe he'll be a grandpa one day! Asku would be that cool grandpa who gets you ice cream right before dinner even if your guardian says no (Unless it was for a really good reason, like you were lactose intolerant or something). He won't take offense if you insult him, he'll probably point out another flaw that he has. He's that awesome guy who makes a dirtier joke than you made after your mom scolded you for making a dirty joke.

Okay, that was a stupid reason. That's why I put it separate from the others.

XD personally, I think Asku would make a good alpha just cause of experience from age. Personal opinion. (btw, sorry to everyone for dropping off the face of the earth forever. x_x I've been busy recently, and that really won't stop anytime soon. So Imma be one of the people who are in and out. :/ Sorry about that. Again.) So I vote Asku.

The voting portion hasn't started yet silly. But that probably makes Holo all the more confident. We need someone to post an alphess application!

I really would, except (due to my track record on here) that I don't think that I'd be able to get on enough to really have an effective Alphess role.

Desiree for alphess!


1. Desiree has strong moral standings, not allowing anything to compromise them.
2. Swift, years of running has made the she-wolf into one of the fastest in the pack, which would help her rush to dangerous situations.
3. Her bi-polar disorder has actually proven to aid her more than harm her, making it easy for her to tell people how it is and later claim she just didn't have control.
3. She's pretty. (Stupid reason yes.)
4. Her tormented past has hardened Desiree in a way that makes her desire to belong and loyalty outstanding ply large. She wouldn't betray anyone dear to her to save her own life.
5. Time spent with pups has made her understand how to be gentle and understanding.
6. She's one wicked skilled hunter!
7. Despite not being well known in the pack, Desiree has a full understanding on the intricate politics in the pack aside from deep dark secrets. Making it easy for her to handle fights within the pack.

You're forgiven, Andy Wandy. Sorry I haven't been on much either. I didn't think that high school would keep me this busy! Most of my free time I'm memorizing Spanish stuff and lab safety rules and tools. I think I have it down, but I dunno... I'll probably be able to check in most afternoons and I'll most likely be on all day on weekends.

Thanks for the vote, Heather! But... Sadly, I think we all know Erebus is going to win. Him being alpha would most likely make for a more interesting plot line than Asku, because Asku's an old wolf with boring old stories (just to clarify, when I say boring I mean totally awesome). We should have a storyteller rank or something like that! They would be responsible for telling pack history so that the pack knows what to do in times of crisis, knows what to avoid doing, and so on. Also, the rank would be an entertainer of sorts and teach life lessons/morals to young ones in a fun way! Asku would be good at that. It would be awesome! But, you know... Only if Asku actually loses. Which will probably happen. Maybe even if he does somehow win we could still add the rank, but just have someone else fill it? Maybe Crescent and Shine could do the job together? Both have heard almost all of Asku's stories, Crescent would be organized enough to keep track of everything, and Shine loves to talk. But I dunno. Crescent would be a good warrior. I need to get to work on that... I really need to start getting my characters to actually do stuff. Dang. It's 10:52... I should go to bed. HHHhnnnnnnn... Why do I always get such good ideas before I need to do something else?
