Grassy plains.

This is elks favorite place to spend time. Rabbit and coyote are also abundant

I walk into the grassy plains the grass reaching my belly. The scent of rabbit fills my nose and I follow it.Finding the den I crouch and watch nothing happens. Then a rabbit came out 3 other rabbits following behind it. I get ready and pounce killing two under my weight the other 2 scatter and I follow one killing it. I walk back to the other two and pick them up. I head back to the den.

Autumn Stalked a deer buck. she was glad her coat blended in well with the dieing grass.

Holo comes crashing through the plains waaaaaaaaay ahead of Jay ignoring the sounds of another wolf hunting and everything around me wanting to reach the stream

Autumn runs the buck down and kills it curseing the pup that disturbed her hunt "stupid pup!"

Ahiga trots through sensing he is near the den and quickens his pace

I walk out into the field the grasses tickling me. I jump up to see a elk herd grazing. Wanting to try out my hunting skills I move in. Once close enough I get ready to pounce. As the elk move in I spot one and pounce flying through the air. right before I land on it's back I hear a gun shot and something pierces my side. I fly through the air and land on the ground hard. My shoulder sickeningly cracks and pain fills my body I skid through the grass and lay still. Blood soaks my black fur and the world fades around me. I let go of my grasp on the world and my heart beats its last drums. I close my eyes never to open them again.

I hear gun shots where Iris just left to and my heart quickens. I sprint to the elk herd to see a black lump in the grass. "Iris" I yell frantically. I run to the lump to see Iris soaked with blood. I shake my head slowly and whisper to myself "No, no, this cant happen." I nudge Iris gently and know she's gone. I grasp her small fragile body in my mouth. Just then another gun shot is herd and a close by elk falls to the ground. I sprint off to burial forest with Iris in my mouth.

Holo trundles in with Rafiel in pursuit and runs all around trying to get the grain to grow then barks "THIS GRAIN IS STUBBORN! IT WON'T GROW FAST!"

Raffiel laughed playfully and would burst from the grains and ateempt to spooke Holo. He laughed at her remarks of the stubborn grains.

Holo layed down exhausted in the tall grass and fell asleep for a power nap muttering before she closed her eyes "I run to much..."

Raffiel laughed and stopped next to her, panting hard and sat down next to her. "Yes... you run to much.... me to..." He panted and curled up next to her for his own power nap.

(half an hour later! lol)


Holo wakes up and looks at Rafiel rolling onto her back .-. (upside down face!) she pawed him awake and said "I think we should get back to the den... Everyone is probably worried we were eaten!"

He opened one eye lid and chuckled. "Oh alright Holo... But wait... Is the wolves at your den nice?" HE asked carefully, remembering the nights he could hear his parents fighting so loudly, so much bickering. He wouldn't be able to handle any more of that.

(Is 'so bickering' proper grammar? English is sooooooooo wierd sometimes! lol I was born in Arizona but grew learning German and other languages XP)


"Yes but only if you are kind to them!" I say and trot slowly back to the den so he can keep up
