"Eastern side, near a small stream." She said, finally the houses cleared to a little park. "Oh and there is this place." Desiree grimaced, remembering fighting there a year ago, fires springing up and children running for her lives as the Humans gunned them down like animals. "Not important for us though. The place is just across, and through an ally."

Leo saw her grimace. Something must have happened here. "Ok. Awesome. I'm starved after that sparring match. You are one good fighter, but I wouldn't expect any less from a commander." he said smiling.

A grin broke out across her face, "Well I wouldn't say I'm the best," Desiree started, "Certainly up there though. Not bad yourself, good thing you gave up though. I'll be ther first to admit I can get a little... Out of hand in a sparring match if I go... You know." She looked down, trying to hide her shame at the simple thought of losing it. Why can't I control myself better in battle? Desiree shook her head, the entrance of the shop.

Alex had watched the two leave before turned to head back into the forest, but someone had been standing behind her that she didn't notice until just then. She gasped quietly, shocked, but immediately calmed down when she realized it was just her brother. "Gosh, Andrew.. You scared me half to death!" The tall, dark haired boy laughed at his sisters reaction. "Sorry. It's nice to scare my little sister every once in a while." "I see....." Andrew flicked her forehead, grinning. "Why were you watching them?" Alex simply shrugged and turned away from her brother, walking away. "Just something to do."

Jo, hearing voices in the distance, sat up slowly, her eyes searching the trees of where the sounds were coming from. Though she didn't see anyone, so she shrugged it off and got to her feet carefully, wandering around in the forest in boredom.

He looked at her. "Hey, it's ok. I am happy your "feral" side showed. Just means I might be able to take you in the future." Leo teased, giving her a wink.

Desiree chuckled, the restaurant was just ahead of them now. "Sure now you know it's there." She nodded her head, "But how can you defend against it?" They entered in, a thick aroma of meat and sauce flooding the air. Instantly her mouth began to water, and Desiree took in a deep breath. "Yum."

Leo inhaled deeply. "That does smell good..." he said. "And as far as defending against it... I think I will figure something out. I like to come up with strategies for things. So it shouldn't be too hard."

"Erm, well I do suppose that's true." Her eyes were lidded with hunger, and the tantalizing smells of the place weren't helping. "Table for two?" A small woman asked them, "Ah? Yes please." Desiree instantly snapped out of it, giving the woman a kind smile as she picked up two menus. "Right this way."

A teenager walked up to them as they were sitting down. "Hello, my name is Jon and I will be your server today. Can I start you off with something to drink?" he droned, tired of the old routine. "We have tea, soda, all that other stuff. You probably know the drill by now."

Lex changed back to his human form. Seeing the two moving he quickly scaled a tree, and ran on the top of roofs till they were in the resturant. He hissed to himself. He quickly jumped off the roof, and snuck in through a back door, after kocking a waiter to the ground.

Sce quickly ran back to her house. Seeing she had a new message, she read through it. A tear rolled down her cheak as she read that her mother had died, by humans.

"Some milk if you have any." Desiree said, giving him a warm smile despite his rather dull attitude. She knew what it was like to be drilled constantly until it was a boring second nature. Desiree sat down at the little table, her stomach growling for the food to arrive already even though they hadn't even ordered yet.

"One milk, coming right up," he noticed the roar of Desiree's stomach, and added, "You can order food now, if you want." He sighed under his breath. It was going to be another long day.

"Really?" There was an excited pitch in her voice. "Well yeah that'd be great, thanks! I'll have..." Desiree peered down at the menu. "The applewood smoked steak with lemon on the side please." She asked as politely as she could. The boys attitude was going to get on her nerves if he kept this up.

Desiree flashed him a glance, once again sizing up his features. He was a bit younger then her, sure but still. Maybe three years? Not to long considering the age a lot of people were dating at now, or the differences between them. What the heck are you thinking about? Desiree's eyes grew wide in confusion and she blinked, anything she was going to say forgotten.

Desiree blinked, a blush crossing her face as if he'd caught her doing something bad. "Nothing important." She near instantly piped, "Just wondering how I'm going to be able to eat right." Desiree lied, refusing to let him know what she had really been thinking. "You see I'm ambidextrous, but I've almost always eaten with my right hand. You know, the injured one." The blush on her face was growing wider and redder by the second.

Leo chuckled again. "Well I guess that could be a small problem, but I bet you can figure it out. After all, you are the commander of the 127th regiment." he said with a wink.

Pretty quick her cheeks were as red as her fiery hair. "Uhm right. I suppose so." Desiree muttered, burying her face the best she could without appearing awkward. "You know sometimes even commanders find themselves stuck in certain problems." She said quickly.

Desiree shook her head, still trying to hide her blush. It was only making her blush even more now and then Desiree growled with annoyance at herself. "No, not really. Just don't laugh if I screw something up." She said, turning her face to look at him again. "Promise soldier?"

The blush finally died down, though Desiree's face felt warm. She felt a little awkward with the waiter still being there, listening in or his mind elsewhere. "Good, now tell me where you trained. You've got some serious skill, but I don't recognize your face around town. Then again I hardly recognize anyone's now an days."
