The Light Forests

The light forests have many animals and such Blah blah blah



Dex entered the warm forests and trampled the underbrush underneath him as he strode trough the lush trees. It smelt of rain and he breathed in deeply. He smiled as he spotted a rabbit hole. He sniffed closer. He judged that there were probably 10 to 20 rabbits in there. He turned from the hole and spotted a Large elk grazing by itself. Its big antlers shone like crystals. Dex licks his lips and crouches low in the brush. He pops out and lands on the elks back. The elk was probably 5 times as big as Dex but Dex was pretty big. The antlers smashed into his body and he ripped further into the skin. The elk stumbled and threw Dex off. Dex smacked against a tree and lay still for a moment Before he pops up with new strength he nips at the elks flanks until it falls to the ground where he makes the final blow. Satisfied He summons new strenght and inch by inch drags it slowly to the den.

Bo-Bo pads along boredly and mutters "I wonder where I am now..."

Bo-Bo smelled blood and suddenly felt very sleepy "Darn..." he said "Where'd that come from? Not again...!" and passed out

Lunar went to the light forest, looking for the flowers that Khora had told her about. Seeing a nice patch of them, she hurried over and looked in the center of the flowers, seeing the dark seeds. She began to scoop them out. Sniffing around a little, Lunar noticed an odd scent and began fallowing it, loosing her consintration. Something moved in a bush off to the left, which made Lunar freeze in place. Seeing a small tail wagging, Lunar relaxed and started walking toward it. "Hello?" She asked cautiously. A small pup poked it's head out from the bush, wagging it's tail happily. "Hello there!" Lunar sat down and smiled, "Hey, where are your parents?" "My daddy went hunting and told me to stay here to wait for him." The little male pup said. He was a dark brown color with a light cream color around his right eye and black running up his back legs. "My name is Xylon. What is yours?" Lunar smiled, "My name is Lunar. Do you know how long it will take for your dad to get back? I can wait with you." Xylon shook his head, "He will be back soon. But you shouldn't be here when he gets back. He is very protective." Lunar nodded, "Ah, I see. Well, I'll be over there for a while collecting some poppy seeds. If anything goes wrong, just called for me and I'll come help." Xylon wagged his tail so fast that it was making his rear move with it, "You bet!" Lunar smiled and returned to the flowers, scooping the seeds out.

Raffiel caught up with Lunar as she was talking to the pup. Instantly his joy faded to curiosity and he sniffed around the bushes. He could smell the father Xylon spoke of and it was fresh. So he wagged his tail and introduced himself to the pup. "Hi," He barked. "I'm Raffiel!"

Raffiel chuckled. "Yes and you certainly are small..." He placed a paw on the young pup's head. "How old are you?" He asked, leaning his head down to stare at the pup with a keen interest.

"I'm two!" Xylon barked cheerfully. His tail wagged excitedly as he nipped at Raffiel's paw.

Raffiel's face dropped. "Years or months!" He was seriously confused. "If years, well YOU'RE OLDER THEN ME!" He then realized, of course the pup meant months, and laughed aloud. "Oh months!.... Right?"

The pup nodded a yes, "I'm two months." He pulled away from Raffiel's paws and sat down, his tail still wagging wildly. "How old are you?" A dark brown male wolf snarled as he jumped out from behind a tree and picked up Xylon quickly, getting him away from Raffiel. Dodge snarled, "Who are you!?" Lunar perked her ears and dropped the poppy seeds, hurrying over to see what was going on. Xylon whimpered, "Daddy, it's ok. He's my friend."

Raffiel's laugh turned into a yelp of shock. His ears pulled back and tail lowered. This wolf means business! He thought and lowered his head as well. "I'm Raffiel. My friend and I were gathering poppy seeds when we found your pup all alone. We didn't harm him."

Dodge bares his fangs, his hackles rising and his tail stiff in a slight upward position. His growl got louder, "Back away." Xylon frowned, "Daddy! They're my friends!" Dodge paused the growling to listen to Xylon's words. "Dad, that is Raffiel. And that female is Lunar. They are really nice. They were just keeping me company while you were gone." Dodge lifted his head as his tail relaxed a bit. His hackles were still raised though. Lunar was standing a few steps behind Raffiel. She lowered her ears back on her head, leaning closer to the ground to show she wasn't a threat.

As the hostility from Dodge began to fade, Raffiel began to perk up. He wagged his tail in greeting. "Yup, he looked all lonely out by himself. But he was brave to us strangers."

Dodge turned on Raffiel quickly from his sudden cheerful mood, and snarled, "Quite!" He took a step closer to the younger male with every word, "You stay away from my son you inbred dancing fool! If I ever catch you near him again I'll-" "You'll have to deal with me and the rest of our family if you continue that threat!" Lunar snapped. Dodge looked at the female confused, not expecting her to go off like that. He growled louder now and his hostility from before was back. "What did you just say? Do you not know who I am?" "Dad Stop!" Xylon whimpered. Lunar mocked Dodge's aggressive stance, and growled back, "You're the inbred dancing fool! How dare you come here and threaten a member of my pack and expect to get away with it! Quite frankly, I do not care who you are." Dodge snarled and was going toward Lunar now, "Oh really? And what makes you think you can get away freely with what you've just said to me?"

Raffiel's initial shock had vanished, he growled lowly, instantly defending his to-be-mate. He snapped at Dodge. "Don't you dare threaten my Lunar-Eclipse, or you'll find out just how sharp this 'inbred's' claws are, and how strong his fangs are to!" He bared his teeth, ready to leap into battle to defend his Lunar.

Lunar growled low in return to Dodge. Dodge turned quickly back to Raffiel, "I've delt with your kind before, you're no match for me, kid." Xylon growled his loud pup growl, trying to be tough. "Hey! be nice to my daddy!" Dodge smirked, "Why don't you listen to the pup." His voice carried through the air swiftly. Lunar returned the words harshly, "Why don't you listen to you pup!" Dodge snarled and turned back to Lunar, biting down on the side of her neck roughly.
