Re: Burial Forest

Khora's heart froze, Autumn had slashed her own throat. Khora bit her tongue to cry out again. She began helping with digging out the graves. Raffiel however, was unmoving unspeaking. His heart was in his stomach. He had never seen a wolf die before. Right there, so close... He didn't know what to feel or say or do...

Raffiel saw Holo's distrest, he was quickly by her side, his only thoughts to help her. To comfort her. He nuzzled his neck against her side. "Hey... It'll be ok..." He mimiced Khora.

He looked at her softly. "I hope I never see my family again. I wouldn't care if they died... they were horrible. But you guys, I do care for... Holo, I don't know what to really say to make you feel better..." He cringed his jaw and stepped away from her. Helping with the digging of the last grave.

We finish the graves and I nod to all the other wolves. I then go to midnight shadow's body and prop it on my shoulder.

Askuwheteua carefully picked up Ahiga's limp body and shivered at the feel of death "Ahiga you son of a -censored for: brownie- you died on me! I told you not to go off and get into trouble like that!" he muttered to his dead brother with tears in his eyes Sad

I lay midnight's body in a grave. "Rest peacefully" I say looking at the wolves in there final resting places. "Any last words or glances before I bury them?"

Khroa wrapped her tail around herself solemnly. She remained quiet, letting the others go first. But she held tears in her eyes.

A single drop of white lands on my nose as I walk forwards to bury them. A light snow starts and reminds me of switching dens. Shivering not because I'm cold but because what happened I began to cover the wolves.

Askuwheteua speaks up as it starts snowing lightly "HEY! I think we should get going to that winter den..." I scoop up the pups and carry them in my mouth by their scruffs (neck fur? 0.o)
