Bumblekit stood quickly and swatted at the three. A swift blow to Thornkit's throat, A kick to Riverkit, and watched as Honeykit tackled Robinkit. "We maybe torn in our family, but we stand up for eachother!" Bumblekit hissed to the three.

Nightkit had rolled onto her feet and hissed at the three kits. Brackenkit took a step forward defensively before he was tempted to bolt out the entrance to get his mother. Suddenly it dawned on him that the three kits wouldn't respect him for that and they'd just keep fighting.
"Oh yeah, and that makes you so special!" Thornkit wailed, his eyes darkened with pain as he remembered the rouges. "Because you've got this nifty little clan! Because you're older? Well we don't need this!" He hissed and tried to charge at the entrance. Instantly Nightkit had blocked his escape and batted at him to get him back.
Riverkit easily knocked over Honeykit and helped her little brother to his feet. She glared at her wailing brother. He's out of control. She thought with annoyance and stood in front of her runt of a brother Robinkit.

Bumblekit looked at Honeykit and saw she was fine. He then looked to Snowfrost to be sure she hadnt woken up yet. "Look! Your mother left here! It's not our fault!"

"This is how mother and father, and the rest of the clan raised us!!!" Honeykit hissed after her brother.

"Just shut up!" Thornkit wailed, lips curled back in anger as he looked at the other kits. Snowfrost hadn't woken up much to his surprise. "Shut your mouth right now! Our mother left because you were all terrible to her!" He hissed and drew his claws. The kit lunged at the loud mouthed tom.

Bumblekit's eyes widened but he braced for the attack. He was a bit surprised by the smaller tom's speed and power.

Foxpelt heard a bit of wailing from the nursery and went to go check it out. I could've been Robinkit having bad dreams again. The young warrior had gotten up to go hunting, but her patrol was still waking up.

Nightkit growled at Thornkit's attack and with a hiss she bit into his scruff and pulled him off her brother. Brackenkit could hear shuffling outside, one of the adults was coming. Before he knew it, he'd jumped over Snowfrost and was acting as if he was hiding. Thornkit hissed as Nightkit pinned him to the dirt, the black she-kit glaring at him with blue eyes. Robinkit and Riverkit both rushed her to free their brother.

Bumblekit tackled Riverkit and pinned her live her brother was. His larger size helped keep her down.


Foxstep stuck her head into the den to see Honeykit pinning Robinkit, Brackenkit hiding behind Snowfrost. Bumblekit was pinning Riverkit and Nightkit pinning Thornkit. "What is going on here?!" She mewed and put herebtire body into the den

Thornkit, Riverkit and Robinkit all instantly stopped the fight and hugged the ground as they cowered at the sight of the warrior. Nightkit fluffed her fur out indigently. "The rouges wanted to fight, so we gave them one." She said.

The red cat flattened her ears and pushed all the kits out into the clearing. "Featherstar, Eclipsemoon!" she yowled and kept the kits in a group. Bumblekit tried to run away, bu he got a swift swat on the ears from Foxstep.

Featherstar blinked in the early morning light as he walked out of his den, popping his bones as he walked out to where he saw an assembled army of kits and one fierce she-cat. "What happened...?" He hissed lowly at the downcast faces of the kits. "What in Starclan's name happened?"

The red she-cat stepped on the grey toms tail as he tried to take off again. "They told me that they were fighting. Not for fun, but with claws and teeth." She looked up with unmoving green eyes to Featherstar and Eclipsemoon. She saw the look of hurt in the queens eyes that her children would stoop so low as to fight their own kin. "Give them their punishment Featherstar," the queen said turning all the kits faces to a deeper frown. "They need to learn from this, and that it's not right." The queen sat ans let the small rays of light illuminate her silvery fur.

Featherstar looked at the kits with pure outrage and walked over to them. "Each of you four," He hissed at the ones that were about to become apprentices "obviously don't understand what it means to serve your clan. You're not ready to be apprentices. Each of you will help the elders but you will not have your apprentice names or mentors." He hissed.

Bumblekit flinched at his grandfather's words. "But.."

"No!" Featherstar cut him off with a hiss, "None of you will receive your mentors or names until you understand what it means to serve and live with your clan. I don't care if your'e my grandchildren, you will not behave like this!" He hissed, and then looked at the other group of his grandchildren. "And you..." His words were just as harsh. "I understand you're still hurting and adjusting, but that does not mean you can behave like dogs! You will clean the dirtplace every night and when Snowfrost's kits come you will do everything asked of you to help." He hissed.

Foxstep let go of the kits and stood. "I will now take My patrol hunting. It will consist of Lionblaze, Paintpaw and Ripplepelt."

Featherstar nodded his head in approval at her selection. "Alright, go ahead." He then looked at the saddened kits. "Take them to the nursery." He growled at Eclipsemoon and slunk back to his den.

Eclipsemoon glared at her four and watched as they bolted for the den. She watched the other three to see if they would take the hint.

Riverkit, Robinkit and Thornkit all stared at their grandfather as he left them with such a terrible punishment. As their aunt moved her kits to the nursery, they sullenly followed without a word said. As they curled up in their nest, which was separate from the other four kits and Snowfrost, they clung to each other like scared mice.

Foxstep stuck her head in the warriors den and saw a still sleeping Lionblaze. She walked in and poked him rather harshly. "Come on, leafbare isn't here yet!" she meowed with annoyance to his ability to test a she-cat.


Bumblekit and Honeykit sat in a nest and growled. Laying down, the two pelts brushed together.

"If you don't calm down you might bring it early..." Lionblaze muttered as he got up, shaking his abnormal fur clear of moss that clung to his pelt. "What's put you in such a sour mood?" He questioned, he was rather familiar with that tone of hers by now.

"I found the kits fighting, yet again. That, and, I want to be able to feed the entire clan durring leafbare," Foxstep mewed. She got up from sitting and walke out of the den. The mottled pelt of Paintpaw was waiting by the entrance. Foxstep trotted over to her and sat beside her, waiting for Lionblaze.

Lionblaze stretched his sore muscles once again before prodding Ripplefur in the side to wake her up. The she-cat blinked her blue eyes until she fought the sleep out of them and then stood up. "Dawn patrol?" She asked, stretching her own legs until she felt limber enough and looked at the others. Lionblaze nodded and led the way out to where Foxstep and Paintpaw were waiting.

The two she-cats looked up as the gold tom and the new she-cat walked over. "We are checking the two-leg place, doing borders, and hunting. Be careful, I don't want to be responsible for any deaths," Foxstep mewed, and stood up.

The two followed after her, slinking out of the clan camp in the early dawn light. Their pelts just brushing as they wove their way out into the wilds of the clan territory.
