"Ummmmm..." Ruth continued looking around. She had thought some of them were rather pretty. After a while she decided on one that appeared to be not very popular. She wondered why, and decided to pick it. (I have no clue how tattoo parlours or whatever they're called work, so... I'm just guessing.) When it was her turn she pointed to the one she wanted, and handed over her money.
(Gonna look like this when it's done. I think the little words on the outside say "Joy" "Wonder" and "Think")

"I don't know. Never had one" He hesaded down the street.

Angel Watched as a girl pointed to a tattoo. "What does that symbolize to you?" He sat down next to her as the tattoo artist was busy making templates and cleaning needles.

Ruth jumped a bit. "Oh, ummm..." she thought a moment. "Change. Me clearing a new path through the forest of life." Then she noticed his wings. "Nice wings..." she said shyly. She hadn't seen anyone with wings besides Bid.

Angel folded them closer to his body. "Thanks," he said almost like someone just beat him. He quickly looked at the cream and golden wings. The feathers bugged him. "This is like the only place people are ok with freaks." Looking at a few templates on the walls he found one he wanted to get. " Think i should get a tattoo?" he quickly looked down to make sure his new piercings weren't to red then back up.

"I don't... Know..." Ruth tilted her head. "UHhhhmmm... Really? People don't... You think we're freaks? I always thought it was just... Never mind... Forget it..."

Angel looked at her. "I would love to leave the asylum i have to live at. Whats wrong with you? You don't show any signs of having wings.

Ruth smacked her face. "Yeah, I don't have wings. Probably never will. But I do have a..." she hesitated, then remembered she was trying new things, taking risks. "I have a tail." she said.

"That's awesome!!!" Angel exclaimed. He looked through a book of templates. Seeing one he liked he memorized the template number. "Just think if you had a tail and wings. Som people would think you were Satan but it would be amazing either way."

Aiden smiled. Holding the door open for her after they walked for a few blocks. "This is the best place I know about!" he raised his voice over the music playing loudly.

Aiden smiled and led her to the back bar. "One brandy and one... what was it that you wanted?"
Angel smiled. "That would be crazy!" He whipped his head to the right. "Name's Angel," he held out his hand.

Sarah laughed at the word he used to describe her. "Audacious, hmm? Maybe so..." she paused before saying, "Make that two margaritas. One frozen and one on the rocks. I'm wanna feel good tonight."

Angel placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Its always scary the first time. But then you get use to it. Almost like cutting your hair." He laughed a bit.
