The Shadow Forest

Stella sighed "I don't know I just kinda walk and see where I end up." Then she heard a shriek come from another wolf and looked at Dinae with only one rare emotion in her eyes, fear. Stella asked him "What was that?" she came here and it already sounded like a torturous place "How convinient." Stella thought she looked down snd realized she was now shaking. She never liked to display her fear but she guessed this was one of these weird times where it really showed.

Lunar's eyes widened as terror flooded her emotions. The large stranger growled low as his fangs became more visible. She must've hit her head pretty hard when she had fallen, because the she-wolf was having difficulty seeing clearly, and didn't even notice the male moving to bite her neck until she felt the sharp pain of his teeth digging into her flesh. Lunar yelped another cry of pain as she struggled to get free of the stranger's powerful embrace. She felt the heat of blood leaking out from her neck now, sending panic throughout her body. The fact that she couldn't breath didn't even cross the she-wolf's mind. Finally, she got one good hit on the stranger, kicking him hard in the soft spot of his belly, causing him to release her from his jaws. Lunar scrambled away from the male, her eyes wide with shock as she came to her feet, trying to escape. Though, she wasn't fast enough. The male quickly regained his composure and, with a murderous look in his eyes, he stormed after the much smaller female, smacking her down to the ground once more. Lunar yelped, feeling the pain that rocketed through her hind legs and back. Instinctively, she rolled onto her back, fangs bared, and snapped at the male's muzzle. Luck wasn't on her side though, only having caught a bit of the skin. It didn't even leave a mark on him. The stranger wasn't phased whatsoever as he snapped his jaws down on her head, an atempt to crush the much smaller wolf's skull. Lunar, now defenseless, let out a loud shriek, yelping and whimpering with defeat. She couldn't get away.

The male stumbled away, then looked down at Dinae and snarled, hackles raised and bloody fangs bared. His deep blue eyes glared down at Dinae with a certain distaste. Though, he didn't make any move to attack. Lunar had fallen silent, barely conscious.

Something about Dinae's eyes reminded the male about his family. He flicked his tail with obvious irritation. It would've been so easy to just kill that female, if only Dinae hadn't got in the way. Wouldn't be too difficult to kill the male though, would it? The shadow colored wolf could clearly see that this other male already had an injury. But who's to say there wasn't a much bigger pack headed on their way to these two's aid. Then he would have been way outnumbered. Was it worth the risk? Cacui, the large, dark grey male, simply let out a low growl in return as a smirk played across his face. "Why should I?"

Cacui flicked his tail angrily once more, hating when someone would challenge him like this. A snarl escaped his jaws as he leaped at Dinae, tackling him to the ground and forcefully pinning him there. Lunar's eyes opened fully, the first thing her seeing being Cacui attacking Dinae. She growled low and worked to get up, though the buzzing in her ears and the lightheaded feeling weren't helping her out all that much.

Cacui was about to close his jaws down around Dinae's throat when Cheyenne knocked him off. So there were wolves coming to help! How many more would come? He couldn't take that risk. Cacui snarled and backed up, before turning away and retreating to the shadows.

Stella watched as the wolves attacked eachother and she saw the wolf Lunar injured on the ground. Assuming that was the one who cried out she began to make an attept to drag her towards some cover in the bushes.

Avo had fallen asleep. He hadn't slept at all when he was underground, fearing that if he stayed in one place to long the tunnel would collapse and kill him.

Stella almost fell backwards when Dinae ran into her face. She shrunk for a second and then defended herself "You know if those wolves would've gotten past you and Lunar was in the bushes where I was going they might not find her, you know just a better chance of surviving." Stella said this simply she was upset that he thought she would do something like that even though she thought people would do stuff like this to her everyday. In her defense Stella was a pup there wasn't much of a chance she'd pull it off.
