WillowClan! Warriors RP

Paint stood up and looked at the cats. She saw so many more eyes, blazed in fighting. She looked at him and nodded, "Yes."

He smiled. "Then I now welcome you as a member of Willowclan, and grant you your new clan name. Paintpaw." The leader mewed, voice full of authority. "I myself, will mentor you in the ways of the clan, the Warrior Code, and the wills of Starclan." He licked her shoulder, eyes telling her to do the same to him.

Stoneclaw knew he must greet her by her new name, but was not very enthusiastic as he yowled. "Paintpaw!" Cloudheart, Dapplepaw, just as unenthusiastic.

Paintpaw licked his shoulder and listened as the cats hardly welcomed her. She climbed down and pushed through the cats. She was still uneasy but was a bit more confident.

Featherstar stepped down after her, ignoring the glares of his clanmates who wrinkled their noses after she went by. The scent of a rouge thick in her pelt. "Come now Paintpaw." He mewed, having caught up with her.

Paintpaw fallowed the tom. She slunk past Eclipsemoon who blocked off her kits. "They wont ever like me. I sould have just died."

Featherstar looked back at her. "No, do not wish that upon yourself. While this may not be what you expected, you have a chance to redeem yourself. Take my mate Snowfrost." He mewed, flicking his tail at the snow white she-cat who gave them both a friendly nod and smile of her blue eyes. "She was once a rouge, tried to kill me, my children and others I care about. But now, she rests easily in the nursery, bearing my kits. Even my son and his mate have grown to like her. And someday the same will be of you."

Paintpaw looked at him. "Really? But I stole their kit." She looked down again.

He smirked. "Yes, and Snowfrost tried to kill them both. In rather sadistic ways to." Featherstar was leading the way to the training hollow. "It will take time, but I promise you one day the whole clan will accept and care for you." He stopped at the top of the hallow and sprung down.

Paintpaw fallowed and shook. "I never meant it," she mewed pitifully. She djgher claws into the ground and smelled Foxheart and Lionblaze all around her.

"So you're the one that took Brakenkit. Right?" Lionblaze mewed, resting on a small rise in the dirt. "You saw that fight to get him back." His voice was low and full of aggression. "Betray us, and it won't take as long." Featherstar gave him a short glare and the tom got up.

"Lionblaze," came a sweet voice, "You judge to quickly. Whatcha got apprentice?" she padded up to her.

Paintpaw was so lost. Lionblaze's threat rained on her.

Lionblaze rolled his eyes, "For good reason sometimes." He mewed, jumping down to stand in the hollow with the others.

"It's good to see that some cats have manners." Featherstar mewed flatly at the tom who shrugged, he wasn't ashamed to not want Paintpaw in the clan.

Paintpaw stood high and jumped into the nearest tree. The branch was a good two tail lenths high.

Featherstar looked up at her, "So you're the more agile type huh?" He asked, get down into a leaping stance before the yowl of a cat caught his attention. He turned to see Dapplepaw limping past, muttering "Ow... ow.... ow... I hate thorns!" As she hurried past. Featherstar looked at Lionblaze. "Help her back to camp." He ordered, and saw a flash in the tom's amber eyes. He looked like he might argue for a moment, but then padded off to help the she-cat.

Paintpaw smirked at the other apprentice. A thorn was like a scratch to her. Bothersome but not major. She jumped down and watched.

The two disappeared in the bush, and then shortly after Dapplepaw made a rude remark and Lionblaze stopped. "What's your problem with me?" He demanded, and she couldn't respond.

Featherstar flicked his tail. "Alright, time to do some training. Do you know how to hunt?" He asked his apprentice.

Paintpaw nodded. "Of course, thats how i survived with Aspen so long."

He nodded, "Show me your crouches." He ordered, "Each one for the different prey." Featherstar sat down, before he could teach her, he had to see what she knew.

Paintpaw did one for a mouse and a thrush. "Thats all I've been able to hunt," she admitted.

He nodded, and then got into a stance perfect for springing after the branch running squirrels. "You want to make sure you have enough power in your legs so that you can spring up if they run up trunks." Featherstar mewed, and took a few steps to show. "You try."

Paintpaw tried to copy Featherstar. She felt all her power go her back legs.

The tom nodded. "Almost. But watch your tail." He mewed, placing a paw on her tail to still it.

Paintpaw floded her ears back in embarassment. She laid her tail on the ground and it stayed still. "Better?"

He nodded, "Much." Shifting his weight and his paws he got into the hunting crouch they used for rabbits. "Try this one, and make sure you're light on your feet. Rabbits are fast and agile. If you startle it, you want to be able to sprint after it." He instructed.

Paintpaw loked at Featherstar. She would move herself, then again. When a twig snapped she spun. She was amazed at how fast it was. Realizing she was the one who snapped it she put her head down and ears back. She got back in the stance and looked at Featherstar for conformation.
