Ashlynn pointed down with her gun and walked back. "I kill when I can," she yawned.

Athena slowly settled down. "Oh..." She muttered, and then closed her eyes. Feeling tired herself, but knowing that Ashlynn probably needed some rest as well. She got up, stretched and took up her own tommy gun. "I can watch now. You sleep. Once we get somewhere real safe we can all sleep."

Spring sat up, leaning against the wall with tired eyes. She couldn't sleep.

Ashlynn nodded thanks and laid down. She had her left hand holding her bow and soundly.

Athena looked around with tired eyes. "So how far to the greenhouse from here?" She turned to Spring, trying to make a bit of conversation so the time would pass a bit faster. "An hour, two? Three? How many zombies?"

Spring looked at Athena and spoke honestly, too tired to try and make thing sound easier. "Honestly. We've been using up a lot of our ammo. If those zombies are still there by morning, we won't be able to get down. If we keep trying to shoot them all dead, they will keep coming. The sounds attract them, remember? Then we will be out of ammo, and surrounded by zombies and we will all be screwed. I have no idea how long it will take, but we shouldn't try to leave until most the these zombies have wandered off somewhere else so we can make a run for it, hopefully without them following."

Her gaze hardened, those were the facts. No matter how difficult they might have been to accept at the moment. She tightened her grip around her switchblade and then opened it. She gazed at the knife. "This may do damage, but not enough zombies I can cut down at a time with this." She flipped it closed. "What about this house? It's boarded up, but maybe we can get it and check it before we leave? Ammo, food, maybe something like a bat or sword."

A dragging noise could be heard as Dyven pulled himself up to the others. "If they dont leave ill take them away.

Athena gave him a doubtful look. "Dyven, until you can move again with your legs. Were either going to have to wait here, or someone piggy-back-style it. And I don't think any of us are strong enough for that over such a long distance and fighting zombies.

Spring looked at Dyven as if he was insane. "And how do you plan on doing that?"

Dyven stood up a bit and wobbled. "By tomarow I'll be able to run aagain," he sat back down and got serious, "But i will lead them away."

"But that doesn't mean we'll let you!" She argued again, snapping her head towards the zombies below. "You see all of them? With your condition now and probable condition tomorrow you'll last no more then five minutes!"

Spring shook her head, "No. We need everyone we have. You're good with weapons, Dyven. We need you."

Athena nodded, "See. And if you did sacrifice yourself. That wouldn't be a very effective sacrifice. How long would you last? Ten minutes maybe?"

Spring shook her head, "It doesn't even matter how long he would make it. He cannot do it! It would be awful for the rest of us. Even after you were dead and gone, That would leave us one person short to help defend our things."

Dyven opened his eyes. "Yes i am but so is Ashlynn. She shot me to paralize me perfectly! And i survived long enough to find you guys! I can make it!" It was hard for him to swallow. He knew that he would need to risk his life for them.

Athena growled. "Dyven, you're not going to get yourself killed!" She finally ordered, leaving no room for discussion. "Now get some sleep." The menacing gaze she held him with always got her students.

Spring spoke up suddenly, "If Dyven goes, I'm going to. He wants to run away as a distraction, then Why don't we all do the same. We'll all die anyways, right?" She was being foolish.

"Why not?" Spring argued. "Why should the kid get to be the hero? When really, that will just kill us all anyways. So why not get it over with now?"

Athena stood up, growling lowly. "Because it might not happen. We might not all die. Maybe just one of us will survive and escape to where there are no zombies -where ever that may be- So isn't that worth something. To help one another to hopefully achieve survival. Because I don't know about you Spring, but I want to live every second I can. I want to take in every breath I can. I want to think every thought I can. Before I become one of them or just die. Because going to them. Means not just death, but joining them. Becoming mindless drones that never stop. And that's not how I wanna go out. Running to a horrible end? Nah, I wanna be running towards a bright future."
