"Ten... Ready or not! The hunter's on the loose!" He growled playfully, a sly grin on his face. He stalked into the trees, sniffing after them. They had gone everywhere! All around the den in such a short time. He flicked his nose about and finally pinpointed the two little girls. He crouched and moved closer and closer. With a large leap he jumped up and landed on them both. Erebus bit their scruffs, no pain or damage done. "Got you two, now you must go to the den." He barked, and placed them down.

Lily and Ginger squeeked, expecting pain to come, but it never did... They squeeld again but with glee this time and scrambled back to the den. Granite crouched down, slowly and quietly moving farther from Erebus so he wouldn't get caught.

Ayalilla woke from her nap when she rolled onto a sharp rock on the den floor and yelped, then she noticed the pups were gone... She bolted out of the den, following they're scent. (She won't get there for a while... She's going as fast as she can which is pretty slow since she's still injured.)

Erebus sniffed the bush, trying to pick out Granite's individual scent but it was hard. As the breeze changed, he caught a single wiff of Granite and bolted. He jumped over the bushes and landed near the pup. Perhaps no more then a foot away. "BETTER RUN!" He laughed, pouncing at Granite.

Granite scrambled off, his play with his siblings had paid off. He was pretty strong for a month old pup. He ran in a direction away from the den. His sisters popped out of another bush and padded slowly behind, so that they could see. They were so troublesome!

Ayalilla caught a wiff of Erebus and Granite along with her other pups excluding Aspen very near each other as the wind changed and she howled a warning cry to the pack. "HURRY, I THINK MY PUPS ARE IN DANGER! I JUST CAUGHT THAT DANGEROUS WOLF'S SCENT ALONG WITH MY PUPS' SCENT!" and limped off in the direction of Erebus and Granite...

Lunar head flew up and she bolted off toward the howl without a second thought.

As Holo returned from some more hunting dragging a partly eaten elk carcass along beside her she dropped it at the den opening and hurried after Lunar. "WHAT'S THE MATTER?" she called, not having heard Ayalilla.

"The puppies at in danger!" Lunar barked to Holo .

"Ayalilla's pups?" Holo barked in shock. "BUT SHE GUARDED THEM SO CAREFULLY!"

Lunar ran past Ayalilla then saw Erebus' black fur. She ran quicker and jumped in front of him, snarling while blocking his path.

Holo slowed when she came to Ayalilla, and helped her speed up a bit. Then Ayalilla howled again, the long mournful howl of a worried mother

Erebus slowed down and looked at them all. "What? What are you blathering about? Were playing a game. Hunter and Prey." Erebus snorted at them. "I'm serious, nothing's wrong."

Ayalilla snorted. "Yeah, hunter and prey... May I ask who is the hunter and who the hunted?"

Holo just supported Ayalilla, not relally understanding what was going on. She figured since they'd stopped walking she could stop supporting Ayalilla and let her stand by herself. "CAN I PLAY TO?" Holo asked and shuffled forward. "GOTCHYA!" Holo giggled as she scooped up Granite and his sisters, Ginger and Lilly. (this is probably a result of her brain damage... She sometimes acts like a normal adolescant wolf, but also sometimes like a careless pup)

Lunar growled, not believing him at all after what he had done to Raffiel. She just stood where she was, not saying anything.

Erebus growled at Ayalilla. "Fine don't believe me. Ask your pups then." He padded away with his snout and tail raised high.

Lunar growled something quietly to herself. Then she looked at Holo and Ayalilla, "Are all the pups here? I remember one of them is with Khora."

Erebus snorted and laid down at the den territory.

Holo looked up, now the three pups had her down on the ground and she was squirming to get free. She could easily knock them off, but that would probably hurt them. "AYALILLA! WHAT THE STARS DO YOU FEED THIS LITTLE BOOGERS!?! THEY'RE HEAVY AND STRONG!" sshe gasped. They were actually squishing her lungs... >_<

Lunar giggled and nudged the little pups off her sister.

"Thanks!" Holo gasped thankfully, and liked her sisters cheek. She smiled and then rounded up the pups, herding them over to Ayalilla.

"Thanks, you two. I have been suspicous of that wolf for quite some time... If only my pups were old enough to talk! Oh well, they will be in a few weeks I think... Most pups start speaking at around two months. We should go back now, unless you want to stay behind." Ayalilla said and grabbed her pups by their scruffs, walking back to the den with a slight limp. The walk here had strengthened her a bit.

Lunar looked at Holo seriously and said quietly, "Stay away from Erebus! He is bad. Really bad. He attacked Raffiel, but so far we don't have any proof but an eye witness. And if Erebus finds out who the eye witness is, then I think he might go after them next..."

"Errrrrrrrrrr... Okedoke sis!" Holo said, shrugging. "If he hurt Raffiel and those bone crushing crazy strong pups, then he must be a... Must be a..." Holo glanced around, as if looking for listeners, then whispered in Lunar's ear "He must be a SUPER VILLAIN DEMON WOLF!" she narrowed her eyes, and tried to act serious and surpress her giggles.

(lol, she was being serious! She just thinks it's funny for some reason... Probably yet another result of brain damage! XD)

"I didn't hurt the pups! We were playing a game! Look them over! Do you see any cuts or bites? No!" Erebus snorted, he had heard the whole thing. His blue eyes glowered at them angrily. "And I didn't attack Raffiel, I told you it was the elk!" He menacingly snarled and walked away.
