Star Treck

Spock jumped in after her. He landed right next to her. He had to huff silently when the doors swished open. "Search everything," one barked, "They are somewhere here." Steps echoed off the metal floor.

T'Pol bit her bottom lip to keep herself quiet, breathing in only every now and then. She tried her best to be still, and slowly heard the footsteps reach this part of the room. Despite her best attempt her breath hyped a small bit. But the Klingon didn't seem to hear through the sound dampeners. T'Pol's fingers curled around the phaser as she anticipated him opening it.

Spock pulled out his phaser and turned it to stun. He took a deep, silent, breath.

"Nothing." The voice growled out, obviously thinking the two couldn't have fit in the crate. Which they barely did, and it was rather tight in fact. "Maybe they fled like the cowards they are already!" One of the group jested, and the sound of unpleasing voices drifted off with the sound of footsteps. T'Pol finally took a breath.

Spock jumped out and helped T'Pol out. He looked as the sounds decreased.

The Vulcan looked after then, covering her nervousness. "They're waiting to capture us before leaving in a shuttle pod." She observed. "That's where we'll find the Captain and the others now." She put a few stun grenades into the over-sized pockets that came with the pants.

Spock grabbed Some and headed out the door. "This way," he whispered.

T'Pol followed right behind him, hand holding onto the phaser like it was her life. Which it almost was at the moment. She had many questions to ask Spock, but kept silent as they crept through the halls. "Shuttle bay up ahead." She whispered, right behind him.

Spock nodded and opened the doors. "We're rescuing you," he whispered to the others only to be hit upside he head and fell down. T'Pol was thrown into the pod and the doors closed. The pod was launched and the dived toward an unknown planet.

T'Pol opened her eyes after a minute. "What just happened?" She asked in Vulcan, looking around with blurry vision. She saw other passengers, bound and gagged sitting in the pod or lying on the floor. "Phlox?" She asked, thinking she recognized the doctor, only for the sight to turn into the Captain. She blinked, and then got up with a start.

Falti opened the pod door and let some out. She untied the oned gagged and tied. "Wait at the top for me."

T'Pol, rather disorientated, looked around and then realized they were on a planet. She took a few steps out of the shuttle, and looked around. It was startlingly hot, little wisps of clouds of in the distance filled the bright blue sky. The ground was hard, and pale and cracked like a dried up river bed. There were few shrubs growing in between the cracks and she felt as if there was tiny reptilian creatures somewhere, just not where she could see. T'Pol turned to them, seeing sweat already beading down some of their faces, and felt the rays of the large sun beating down on the planet. The sound of the engine breaking down was the only sound she heard for a moment. "We're stuck...." She gasped in Vulcan.

Spock and Tuvok climbed out and looked around. Falti climbed up with a small crew member on her back. "We search for a place to—" she cut off as Tuvok found a door under the sand he was standing on.

T'Pol gave a despairing glance up at the sky, where she thought she could see the faint shape of a starship fly away, taking whatever crew hadn't been marooned and their only chance at escape with them. "No... No... no no no no no!" She gasped, looking at the nineteen other life forms with her and muttered a string of curses after the Klingons.

Falti, Spock, Tuvok, and the linguistic turned their heads at T'Pol. Spock smiled on the inside as he opened the door. "It's a cave, with water."

T'Pol turned to look at them, trying to gain control. Now is not the time to break down. She reminded herself and looked into the cave. "Well that's good..." She whispered, still speaking in Vulcan and not planning on changing back for a while. Then she thought. "If there's a door here, that means some one's been here." The Vulcan pointed out.

Tuvok nodded. "Well lets see where it goes," he tied a rope to amplant and to himself then repelled down.

T'Pol peered in after him, the darkness of the cave was rather intense and she found it slowly harder to tell which was Tuvok and which was the wall.

(Thats like trying to fing dark gray on black! [Tuvok is black])

Spock fallowed after him and Turned on a flash light. "Its stable!" they called up in english.

T'Pol saw a long cord of rope and offered it to Falti. "I can stay up here Captain." She offered, getting tired of going places right now. She just wanted to be alone somewhere. But they had much to do.

Falti nodded and repelled down. "Lets find a place to rest," she called on her way down.

"We got three caverns," Spock called, "The third is the most logical one to use."

T'Pol sat against the rock, looking at those who remained. They had crashed here, and she could see two men dragging out the body of a young woman. Were going to have funerals... T'Pol grimaced, and then closed her eyes, trying to think of where she and Spock had gone wrong. The Klingons were smarter then she credited them. The ones in the armory must have smelled them, and decided to draw them out rather then get shot. Then as the two reached the others, they were ambushed, and now.... Shaking her head, T'Pol focused back on what was at hand.

Spock lead the ones down in the cave to the third cavern. They all sighed in releif to the voolness and the pond of water. He walked back and climbed back up and moved some others down. He walked to T'Pol and sat next to her. "My feet and hands hurt, but we still have a job." He looked at the men and blinked in sympathy. "Bring her with us," he called to them. "Come," he held out his hand for T'Pol.

Pain filled T'Pol's gaze as she took his hand, a subtle fire burning in her palm. The feeling suddenly lurched her back to a reality that was close at hand. And she felt more at home on Vulcan at the moment in the arid landscape, though here there was more foliage then on Vulcan. A pang shot through her body as she realized she possibly wouldn't see her home world ever again. "Let's go." She whispered, trying hard to ignore the fire of her Pon Farr burning as every second it dawned closer.

Spock tied the rope around her waist and then to his. He dropped down and untied himself. He waited for T'Pol. He felt a warmness in his cheeks.
