Re: Fall Den

Holo was sitting in front of the old black and white wolf. He had said they had to wait for the story until everything settled down. She sighed, and looked over at his two children. They were arguing over who got to sit closest to their dad when they quite simply could have taken seats on opposite sides of him. "Definitely twins!" she giggled.

Asku was sitting patiently, still waiting for everyone and everything to get calmed down. He couldn't remember some of the story... He hadn't told it in quite a while. In fact... Not anytime after his pups had been born.

Echo laughed a bit. "I guess that makes sense. So what brings you back to the pack?" (wasn't even trying to rhyme there. XD)

Crescent finally gave up trying to get the seat from his stubborn sister and sat down by the orange female with black spots on her back. She didn't look very much older than him. Only about a year older, probably. As far as he had seen she was craaazyyyyy!

Holo smiled. "Hi. I'm Holo. What's your name? Your Askuwheteau's son, right? He was here when I was a pup! He's oooold."

Echo nodded. "Makes sense I guess... Oh. And just so you know, we have puppies back at the den. That is why I was so stern with you when we first met. I hadn't ment to be rude. We are just on high alert." Echo stated in an almost appologetic tone. "Plus we have more pups on the way." He added with a smile.

"Is that so?" Nina seemed thoughtful, keeping her eyes ahead of her as she watched where she was walking. "This little pack sure must've grown quite a bit since I was here last."

Echo continued smiling. "You could say that. I was just the first one to join or re-join the pack over the past month.We have had quite a few new additions recently."

Echo saw the den in the distance. "We are almost there. Maybe about another five minutes walk, tops."

Nina smirked, "Who needs to wait?" She flicked her tail and pushed Echo aside playfully before she took off running toward the den.

Echo laughed before taking off after her. She was fast! He wasn't sure, but he thought this girl could give even Belle a run for her money. He tried his best to keep up but just kept falling further and further behind.

As Nina neared the den, she slowed down before stopping and looking around at all the new faces. She hadn't gone into view of anyone at the den yet, just simply standing off behind some trees.

At once Echo had caught up, he was panting pretty hard. "Wow... That was... You're fast!"

"Belle is my mate. She is also the fastest one in the pack." Echo looked out over the group of wolves. "There." He said pointing her out. He also just noticed that her stomach had already begun to bulge a bit. At the thought, he smiled.

Nina looked, then perked her ears. "Well, you lucky brute. Pups on the way?"

Echo smiled even wider now. "Yep!" Echo was already just bursting with excitement.

Nina chuckled and nodded, "I wish you and your small family the best." She now stepped out from behind the trees and made her way toward Holo, who she saw was sitting with three wolves she had never seen before.

Shine saw yet another new wolf approaching. She quickly gave up her hard-earned seat and trotted over."Hello!" she said, smiling.
Crescent ignored Holo, taking his sister's seat as soon as she was up.
Holo frowned, but quickly got over it. She watched Shine get up and start walking towards yet another familiar face. Holo hopped up and bounded over to her friend. She barely managed to stop due to the leaves underpaw. "Nina!"

"Where have you been forever?" Holo asked. "There's been a lot changes around here since I last saw you."
"But you probably already knew that." Shine added when she caught up. "I'm Moon Shine. But you canjustcall me Shine."
(Cousin PAul was reading over my shoulder and commented on Shine's name. He thought it was funny and now I'm thinking of changing her name to Moon Light or Moon Shimmer. BUT THAT WOULD INVOLVE EDITING ALL MY POSTS WITH HER NAME!!!)

Nina shrugged, "Just been exploring and such." She looked at the stranger, Moon Shine, and nodded once, "I'm Nina."
