Erebus sighed. "Thanks for the herbs." He said sarcasticly, getting Khora to put her focus back on him. "Oh I'm sorry its just.... Nevermind." She applied the marigold pulp and cobwebs. "Don't move for a while ok." She told him and then sat thinking. Erebus couldn't help but look her over. "So that white and red wolf your mate?" He asked her, noticing her swollen belly.

"Why didn't you meet them with her, Blaze?" she asked "THEY ARE REALLY FUN! Your mom trained me! She helped me get strong... And now, I can catch really fast little lizards and things! And she taught me that there's water inside cactus's!(Cacti... proof of Holo's ignorance! You can't drink the cactus juice! DON'T GO CRAZY LIKE SAKKA HOLO! Oh wait... TO LATE!) And your dad was always really grumpy for some reason... But only at first! Then he was nicer, and your siblings were really nice to me!" Holo smiled

Rowan bursted from the bush and made it look like he was just wondering "Holo you wanted me?" he asked padding up to her.

Khora fought the urge to howl at the moon with grief and joy. "Father... He's never smiled. Never happy. My brother and sisters, were always well... Not like me." She looked at Holo. "Mother... Did she talk about the moon and its effect on hunts?"

Lunar was still confused, but didn't care.

Holo cocked her head again "Huh? She never talked about things like that... She always said things like "You need to go slower and quieter when stalking big prey... But whe hunting small things like lizards and rabbits you need to go REALLY FAST!" and then she'd show me how, but she never actually caught anything... And for some reason, whenever she gave me something to eat, it always tasted like sand, or rocks, or just nothing at all... It was soooo wierd! But Isn't it cool that they are alive?" she said


"ROWAN!" she barked happily "I have something to tell you... Come with me..." she started to walk off in the direction of the large lake

Erebus sighed. It seems I won't have to do much to have my fun here. Khora is going to have pups, making her an emotional wreck many times over. Holo is.... Stupid or silly. Rowan and Raffiel might give me trouble. This Blaze is sleeping, and seems weak right now. If I strike later, he might be to strong. Lunar is odd but smart. This mother Ayililla will be easy to. He smiled, this is gonna be fun.

Blaze opened one eye sleepily and noticed a strange wolf. It didnt seem right to him but he was so weak... He gave a low growl that no one would hear and closed his eye again. Echo finished his guard duty watching the territory, he had gotten stronger since Blaze had left because he had been the only warrior he had all the watches he flicked his brown tail back and forth and trotted toward the den.

Erebus looked at Blaze. He snorted. Khora shook her head in confusion. Raffiel laughed, and licked Lunar. So happy.... Erebus whistfully thought before that hardened into hate. I'll be happy when its all over for them! He got up to his paws and gave Khora a lick on the ear in thanks. "I'll get out of your hair now." He said and began to painfully walk away. Khora stared at him beofre barking, "No Patient of mine gets off that easy. Sit down!"

Artemis finishs the rabbit meat she was chewing on and sighs looking over her territory. She stands and stretches and walks by Khora "I'm going for a walk" She said to no one and eyed the new wolf suspiciously.

Khora looked at Artemis and then got to her paws. She followed after her, wanting to talk to her. "Lunar, watch him." She ordered, catching up with Artemis. "I need to talk to you." Khora said in a low voice.

She looked at Khora with a sideways glance "Wait til we are deeper into the woods" She says going deeper in. "Okay then what is it?"

Khora was uncertain how to saw this, but finally came out with it. "I've notice you have been leaving us many times. Just disappearing every now and then." She finally started. "Its putting a lot of pressure on the betas. I was just wondering, why you've been gone?"

Artemis looked at her thoughtfully. "I get these... pains" Artemis looked down "I don't want the pack to see me weak... But there getting worse" She said looking of into the distance.

Khora's ears popped up. "Pains? Maybe there is something I can help with!"

Artemis shook her head slowly "I don think so... I dont even remember when they started" She said looking worried.

Khora whined, she hated to see her friend like this. "Sit down, and let the doctor take a look at you." She told her, not caring if she just gave her alpha an order.

Artemis took a seat and looked at Khora hopefully "I'm sorry to make you worried"

Khora sniffed her. "Well its not an illness. Then again I would have noticed sooner." She began to prod Artemis's belly and shoulders. "Where is the pain usually?"

"Everywhere but mostly in my head" She said wincing.

She cringed, and then began to closly inspect her. Then she spotted something like a dent on Aremtis's head. Biting her tounge, she moved back. "It seems you've recieved an injury that I cannot heal in battle. Or hitting your head on something. Likely the pain in your skull transfered outward to the rest of your body so it didn't feel like it just exploaded or something." She looked at Artemis sadly. "I think... You might need to step down as alpha, or risk further injury."

Artemis's eyes got foggy and she slowly nodded. "Oh Khora... I suppose you're right"

Khora padded up to Artemis, who was only a foot away. She nuzzled her tenderly. "You've been a wonderful Alpha Artemis."

"Thankyou, you all mean so much to me, Once everything is right and a new Alpha arises I will leave, leave to live the rest of my life as a loner."
