Summer Den

"I'll look for your pups, Ayalilla! Don't worry! I'll find them! I promise!" Holo said, then left the den to search for them...



Granite, Lilly, Aspen, and Ginger trudged through the woods on their little puppy legs, they didn't have a clue where they were! They just wanted to get home again, now that their playing was over! Lilly whined and yawned telling the others she was tired in their odd puppy babble. "Don't worry! Were close to home I'm sure! I think I can smell mother!" Aspen seemed to reply with a quick glance at her and a happy yip. "If we're so close then can we take a nap break? My footpads are aching!!!" Ginger seemed to say and huffed loudly. "FINE! Into that bush everyone! MOVE IT! Or we could be eaten!" Granite barked, and they all went inside, huddling together in the large thorn just a few minutes walk from the den.

"puppies!!!!" Holo called "Lilly, Aspen, Granite, Ginger! Where are youu?" she called guessing that the pups probably didn't understnad her even if they could hear her, but she didn't care... She poked her nose into every bush but couldn't seem to find them...

Granite and the other pups woke to loud, deep booming words. They haad heard that voice before! THOSE WERE SOME OF THE SOUNDS AT THE PLACE THEIR MOTHER WAS AT! they thought... They whimpered and squeeked, hoping to be found and quieted down as an orange muzzle popped into the bush, sniffing them. "Yep, that's them!" Holo boomed and she grabbed the pups by their scruffs, quickly scurrying back towards the den to deliver them to Ayalilla. But she never reached the den... Not as soon as she expected anyway... she came across an odd scene. Khora, Raffiel, Lunar and Erebus. She didn't have a clue what they were doing but she just stared her mouth starting to drop open in awe, then she remembered the pups and kept her mouth firmly closed, just watching the four other wolves.

Erebus snorted, and returned to the den. Almost as if that had been nothing for him to worry of. He sat down and looked at Khora. She was licking her belly clean while close to Raffiel. His paws were twitching, and Erebus snorted. "She thinks I'm the one who made him like that." Erebus said to Larmyne. He wanted the pup on his side of things.

Holo stayed silent, then trying to forget what she'd just seen, whatever it was, she trotted back into the den and dropped the pups off in front of Ayalilla.
(The pups are probably around 6 to 7 weeks old now. So about one and a half months. They just haven't learned to speak well yet for some reason... So you can play with them Larmyne! )

As soon as she was set down, Ginger began trying to scramble away towards the new strange pup, wanting to investigate. Sadly though, her mother was being very watchful now that they were back and she scooped them all up for a bath. "You pups are so dirty, did you go on an adventure?" she teased.

Raffiel twitched, and then opened his eyes. He gasped at the air, "Ma... Mama?" He whispered, mistaking Lunar for Khora. At his awakening, Khora jumped, with slight difficultly and limped over. "I'm here, its Lunar who's been right here. I was so worried about you!" Khora licked his face, Raffiel frowned. "Where's dad... Lunar, where's dad?" He was talking about Xavier who has helped her get him to the den.

Khora raised her head. "Who, who left? What is he talking about?" She asked Lunar in a hushed tone. The mention of someone leaving raised Erebus's head. Had I been seen? He wondered, and made a mental note that he would have to pay this wolf a visit if so. Granted he found out who it was.

Khora's fur rippled. She had grown to mutually respect Xavier during her stay with them with Raffiel's personal trip with them. But if he had seen her boy Raffiel get harmed and done nothing about it. She would have another pelt to claw. "Did he see it happen?" She asked Lunar.

Khora nodded in understanding and grew quiet.

Erebus absent minded cleaned his toes while he planned his next step. There were more people in the equation now.

Erebus stood up and stretched, "You're quiet the healer Khora." He said to her, "I don't feel what the elk did one bit." He was trying to make her believe it was elk after all. If another wolf had told Lunar and she told Khora. Well he had to make it seem like an untrustworthy source no? He shook each of his paws. "Yup real good...."

Khora growled at Erebus, who shrugged. "Alright, sorry for you belly. I was just trying to get you off me. You would have snapped my head off you'd you?" He asked her, and Khora looked away. "So don't be mad I defended myself." He said and Khora looked down.

Erebus picked up a hare and began eating it.

"Bleh...." He growled, tongue lolling out. "I feel like I've been gored by an elk."

"Why is everyone talking about elk...?' Holo asked and chewed on an itchy ankle "AGH!" she yelped "WHAT THE HELL MADE MY ANKLE SO ITCHY!?!?!" she barked in frustration, taking the paw out of her mouth and revealing tons and tons of red bumps. "Could have been when I was getting the pups... I remember feeling like something stabbed my foot quiet a few times and thought it was just thorns...

Lunar looked at her sister and suggested, "Ants?"

"Maybe... It could have be-" she stopped short and stared at her paw in disgust. "EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!! THERE'S A BUG HEAD ON MY PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she whined and shook it off. "I think i found that six-eyed culprit..." she whispered as she stared at the rather large head of a spider that had been attached to her paw and she shuddered.
